I am an architect and an International FCI judge ( J.No. 12344) as well, since 2012 !!!
From early childhood I remember myself involved with animals !!!
We had many cats, hamsters, etc.
At the age of 13, I had my first dog. A mix breed male, small in size and his name was Bruno.
When I went to the university in Paris to study Architecture, I couldn't resist to stay so many years without my beloved dog “Bruno” ( who stayed back in Cyprus with my parents).
I decided to get a pedigreed male Dalmatian that I named “ One” !!!
During my long promenades in the park with “ One” , I was coming across at all those white, small and active dogs just about everywhere. You could see them in the parks, in the streets, in the houses yards etc.
I started getting interested in them and more and more they started growing in my heart !!!
Those “white”, “small” and “active” dogs were the Jack Russell Terriers.
My first Jack Russell Terrier, came from France , in 2000 a smooth coated male Jack Russell terrier named: “Aristotelis” (aka Aris). My huge love to him and to the breed, gave me the incentive to start breeding this wonderful breed.
And here we are now. We are a small kennel, breeding Jack Russell Terrier since 2005. We are located in Agios Dometios, a suburb of Nicosia (Lefkosia) the capital city of Cyprus. All of our dogs are bred and raised at home with lots of love !!!
We are registered with FCI since 2006 under the affix name
"The Arissells" reg.no. 05/2006.
All our dogs, pets , show and breeding dogs, are members of our family.
We strive to breed healthy, happy and beautiful Jack Russell Terriers as much within the standard.
Most of the dogs bred by us, are living here in Cyprus and we have exported dogs, in European, Scandinavian and Asian countries,
as also in Latin America and at the USA !!!

Πώς να εκπαιδεύσετε ένα κουτάβι στο να μην λερώνει μέσα στο σπίτι :
Το να εκπαιδευτεί ένα κουτάβι στο να μην λερώνει μέσα στο σπίτι δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα δύσκολο. Απαιτείται όμως κάποιος χρόνος μέχρι να προσαρμοστεί στα νέα δεδομένα.
Στο διάστημα της εκπαίδευσης απαιτείται κυρίως υπομονή και ψυχραιμία. Είναι αναμενόμενο ότι το σκυλάκι σας κάποιες φορές θα ξεφύγει ... από τους κανόνες. Ο εκνευρισμός όμως σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις θα φέρει μάλλον τα αντίθετα από τα επιθυμητά αποτελέσματα. Το πρώτο βήμα για να αποφύγετε τις δυσάρεστες καταστάσεις είναι να βγάζετε το κουτάβι νωρίς έξω από το σπίτι πριν αυτό αναγκαστεί να το λερώσει.
1. Έξοδος από το σπίτι
Καλό είναι να προγραμματίζετε τη βόλτα με το κουτάβι σε καθορισμένες στιγμές της ημέρας. Φυσιολογικό είναι όταν ξυπνήσει ή πιει μεγάλες ποσότητες νερού ή ολοκληρώσει κάποιο γεύμα να υπάρχουν μεγαλύτερες πιθανότητες να λερώσει το σπίτι. Για αυτό το λόγο μια προγραμματισμένη βόλτα μετά από αυτές τις στιγμές μειώνει τη πιθανότητα το κουτάβι να σας αιφνιδιάσει δυσάρεστα μέσα στο σπίτι.
2. Γεύματα
Τα γεύματα μέσα στη μέρα δεν πρέπει να είναι πολλά, γιατί έτσι θα βρίσκεται πιο συχνά στον πειρασμό να λερώσει το σπίτι. Όσο δυσκολεύεστε να προγραμματίσετε την καθημερινή του διατροφή τόσο πιο απρόβλεπτες γίνονται και οι αντιδράσεις του.
3. Προειδοποίηση
Επειδή είναι δύσκολο να προβλέψετε κάθε φορά ποτέ είναι η στιγμή για την ανάγκη του προσπαθήστε να κατανοήσετε κινήσεις του που μπορεί να είναι προειδοποιητικές. Ξαφνική απομάκρυνση από το χώρο που βρίσκεται, ασυνήθιστα έντονη δραστηριότητα θα πρέπει μάλλον να σας προβληματίσουν. Αν δεν το προλάβετε, βγάλτε το έξω για να περιορίσετε τη ζημιά.
4. Αντιμετώπιση απρόοπτου
Αν το κουτάβι βρίσκεται σε μικρό χώρο είναι πιο εύκολο να το ελέγξετε. Αναγκάζεται και το ίδιο να συγκρατηθεί αφού αντιλαμβάνεται το χώρο ως σπίτι του. Ωστόσο ακόμη αν φαίνεται ότι έχει προσαρμοστεί στους κανόνες που του έχετε υποδείξει υπάρχει πάντοτε η περίπτωση να λερώσει το σπίτι. Τότε δεν πρέπει να το τρομάξετε γιατί αν σας φοβηθεί η εκπαίδευση δεν θα έχει κανένα αποτέλεσμα. Όταν εσείς θα λείπετε από το σπίτι ή θα είστε μακριά από το χώρο που βρίσκεται, θα είναι για εκείνο η κατάλληλη ευκαιρία να κάνει την ανάγκη του.
4. Ανταμοιβή
Η τιμωρία μάλλον θα μπερδέψει το κουτάβι και δεν το βοηθήσει να καταλάβει ότι δεν πρέπει να λερώνει το σπίτι. Αντίθετα με τη συνήθεια μπορεί να μάθει να λερώνει ένα συγκεκριμένο σημείο έξω από το σπίτι (πχ. στο μπαλκόνι) έπειτα από δική σας υπόδειξη.
